Inner Protest
Photography, Collage & Performance, 2025
Cardiff Metropolitan University, Erin Victoria Mora Colton

Inner Protest stages a protest that never happened. Mixing collage, performance, and photography, the work critiques how activism today often feels like a performance in itself.
Red dominates the visuals — urgent, alarming. Goggles and masks suggest both survival and confrontation, while repeated self-portraits reflect exhaustion.
The piece is not about shouting louder, but about questioning: Is activism still an act of defiance, or has it become content for consumption?
